1) Server Reliability
- A Web Hosting Server should be reliable. It should be up and
running better than 99% of the time.
2) Enough Storage and Band Width - For small business sites, this
should not be a issue. The basic plans include a certain amount of disk space
for storing your web site files and a certain amount of bandwidth which services
the internet traffic that your site generates. If more disk space or
bandwidth are required over and above your chosen plan your monthly rate will
increase accordingly however you will be notified prior to any increase.
3) eCommerce Capability - You're on the web to make money.
You need a hosting service that can provide secure servers and/or shopping
carts.
